11/10/11Duck Trucks
A duck truck carries decoys, layout blinds, dog crates, a cooler and other stuff in the truck bed, covered by a cap. And sometimes you even sleep back there.
A duck truck, battered as it is, is often stickered up with duck and goose call brands to hide the back-road rust, Ducks Unlimited and Delta Waterfowl affiliations slapped on there proudly, and yeah even a little stenciled spray paint too.
A duck truck is your home away from home. Your go-to wheels. Forget that the gas gauge flips around more than a feeding puddle duck and the tires are always in question - at least the radio works. It's your waterfowl gear carrier and you spend way more time in it these days than the family car . . .
